Kiniro was purchased by trainer Dan Horsford in Autumn 2025. He was a top target for Dan even before his very impressive win in his last race prior to the sales, with clear talent and untapped potential. It’s impossible not to be very excited by that last performance in particular!
With a current rating of 80, Kiniro has the ability to take his owners on some cracking days out, and after completing 10 races throughout 2025, we’d like to think they’ll be plenty of them!
After a short holiday through the winter, Kiniro recently returned to Dan’s yard at Sharpridge and is now entering his training programme in preparation for the start of his 2026 racing campaign!

Dan had planned to target his purchase even before his win in his last race prior to the sales, sighting clear greenness as a key indicator that there is plenty scope for further improvement in Grey Soul with some tailored education and training. The fact that Dan sees such potential for improvement in a horse that is already a winner is very exciting indeed!
