Kiniro was purchased by trainer Dan Horsford in Autumn 2025. He was a top target even before his very impressive win prior to the sale. It was impossible not to be very excited by that performance at Lingfield in particular!

Kiniro is clearly a horse with the ability to take his owners on some cracking days out, and after completing a solid quantity of races in both 2025 and 2026, he offers his owners brilliant value and consistency.

After a short holiday through the winter, Kiniro returned to Dan’s yard at Sharpridge before having his seasonal reappearance at Chester as part of the prestigious Boodles May Festival.

He continued to show great promise at Newbury, where he finished an impressive second in a competitive handicap beaten only by a short priced favourite, and at Kempton where he showed an impressive turn of foot to finish a strong 3rd despite traffic in running.

On 7th October 2026 at Kempton, Kiniro won for the first time in Osman Racing colours, showcasing his trademark turn of foot under a patient ride from Oisin Murphy.

Around 75% of his owners became winning owners for the very first time!
